Let me start with a story.

It's April 1995, and I am sitting towards the front of a large, dimly lit conference hall in Cardiff waiting to hear my name called to the stage to speak at a world conference. The time to either run like hell, or feign serious injury in order to escape having to present has long since passed, and my anxiety levels are off the chart.......no going back now. 

As I arrive at the lectern, I can see around 200 people (who I presume wish me no harm), all staring at me and waiting for me to speak. My heart is beating out of my chest, I am shaking from head to toe I have beads of sweat on my face, and I can smell.....well, lets not go into that! Having had months to prepare for this moment, I am totally unprepared due to a lack of knowledge and practice around presenting confidently and professionally to an audience. Needless to say this presentation did not go well.

Over subsequent years I did my very best to avoid public speaking However, a career in sales and marketing saw me deliver many nervous, and poorly structured speeches to colleagues and clients. 

Then, one day, I made a momentous decision to change my negative mindset about public speaking and challenge myself to become a more confident and accomplished speaker. Having achieved those goals, and delivered many confident speeches since, my mission now is to help you because you have,

1. developed a fear of public speaking and now wish to become a more confident and competent speaker, or
